New Feature: Architecture Decisions in SAP LeanIX

has anyone created any good templates that they would be willing to share screenshots of?

Whould be nice if those ADR (Architecture Decision Record) could be import/export as excel, as we have several in other system.

And if we could use Tag-groups for selected fields

I think the ability to link fact sheets is really useful, not only can we capture affected applications or IT components, but also perhaps identify the Initiative which triggered the decisions to be made. However, this functionality is currently very limited because it is not possible to search for decisions based upon a fact sheet or to see the related decisions from within a fact sheet. At the very least this should function the same way as To Dos, Surveys and Diagrams, all of which can be accessed from their related Fact Sheets.

Currently, we have completely manual, PPT (powerpoint) deck based ARB process.

We are planning to introduce an Executive Summary slide to go along each DR (Architecture Decision Record), with a RAPID details to go with it… (refer below image)

We are very much inclined to use AD in LeanIX, but this has to still mature for our requirements.

I think, we can start with Exec Summary details… and with associated fact-sheets.

How to model RAPID with AD?

Any other thoughts for improvements here?

Capturing Architecture Decisions in LeanIX is really interesting! What I need to make it really working for my organization is to have approval workflow defined with key stakeholders and approvers part of that ADR distribution and approvals. Did someone work on that?

We are using own designed FactSheet type to get the functions we wants for our ADR.
So far we dont see that the inbuilt ADR is superior to FactSheet based ADR.
But maybe  the feature my change.
