Bom dia. O meu nome é Filipe Santos e sou Enterprise Architect na Galp. Estamos neste momento a modelar as nossas Interfaces em LeanIX e estamos num dilema onde, possivelmente, alguns de vocês também estão ou já estiveram. Em termos de interfaces “técnicas” - o subtype existente API e mais alguns que criámos, por exemplo, para eventos -, temos como principal objectivo mapeá-las para criar um custom portal que servirá como “O” catálogo de serviços reutilizáveis. Nestas fact sheets serão mapeados os serviços expostos na camada de integração. O nosso dilema prende-se com onde devemos parar. Devemos mapear apenas os serviços expostos na camada de integração? Ou devemos ir um passo mais além e mapear também os serviços backend dos quais cada serviço de integração depende? Seria utilizada a relação “requires” para identificar que um serviço de integração depende de um ou mais serviços backend. Com isto, conseguiríamos ter uma visão mais rápida e clara do impacto que alterar o serviço A ou B

Hello experts, I have defined a Multipleselect custom field in Interface FactSheet and I would like to know how to set values via GraphqlAPI  According to documentation it would be enough to point the Key but performing for example an update I’m receiving the error of undefined field.I tried also to point several paths assuming to address subpath but similar error  Any idea on how to deal this stuff?Tnank you very much!

Hello,I’d like to raise an conversation about the topic how to utilize SAP LeanIX for the EU AI Act.We started with applications by enhancing the metamodel following the proposal of SAP LeanIX:The mandatory fields are conditional and except AI Usage they are conditional based on what is selected in the AI Usage single selection.To simplify the factsheets owners data entry I created a survey with all this information inside.We also added the AI Potential to Business Capability Factsheet.Next step is to apply this approach to the component factsheet.We are still discussing how calculate an AI risk score and -level. Greetings,We are expanding LeanIX tool usage internally and will be onboarding new members (solution, technical architects, etc.)As part of the pre-requisites, we will ask each one to complete let’s say… at least Level 1 certifications to understand the basics of the tool, metamodel, factsheets, etc.Is there a way for us to track, how many have successfully completed the certifications, levels, etc.? Thanks,Satish.

Hi everyone,I'm working on cost modeling in LeanIX and I have a question regarding how to best represent license costs—especially in cases where a shared technology platform (e.g., SAP) supports multiple business applications.Context:SAP licenses are purchased centrally, but used across several applications (e.g., Finance, Procurement, HR). In LeanIX, I’ve already entered these costs on the IT Component–Application relation, since the licenses are tied to the SAP component. The Application TCO extension also allows me to enter license costs directly on the Application fact sheet, but this creates a duplication of cost data (TCO doesn’t use IT Component-Application relation costs)Questions:Should shared technical costs like licenses be entered in the TCO extension at the application level, or is it more appropriate to model them on the IT Component–Application link when the licenses are centrally managed and technically scoped? Hello,I have noticed that quite often in some domains a unique person can be the technical/it owner of multiple applications.This leads to that person not being able to properly update information in LeanIX or answer Surveys.Has anyone ever tried to handle this type of situations?Is there any framework or best practice that suggests a governing model for this?Because sometimes this could mean that there are actions that should be taken to avoid single points of failure.Thanks.

I have an application (App1) that is used in multiple regions. The application is linked to two business capabilities (BC1 and BC2). In LeanIX, the Functional Fit is defined on the Application ↔ Business Capability relation.My challenge is: The deployment is the same application instance across all regions. But Functional Fit is different per region (due to local laws/compliance differences). LeanIX allows me to assign the same capability only once to the application. Because “Region” on the relation is a multi-select, I cannot create a second entry of the same capability with a different Functional Fit. Example:Application Capability Region Functional Fit App1 BC1 NA Perfect App1 BC1 APAC Insufficient Is there a way to model this in LeanIX so that I can have different Functional Fit values per region, without creating duplicate Application fact sheets?What is the best practice here?

They keep the scope tight, drive adoption, and are responsible for reporting the measurable Return on Investment (ROI) of your LeanIX implementation. The core team will be responsible for completing the SAP LeanIX onboarding process, a vital step that positions them to effectively cascade knowledge and drive adoption among relevant stakeholders within the organization.  Without this dedicated group, adoption can stall, data quality can drop, and the value of your EA effort may never be fully realized.  How to form your core team

Hi, we would like to set some automation to inform users about a Fact sheet is long time in broken seal status. How to get this information? Is this possible at all, maybe with graphql query?In addition would be nice to have a dashboard to make this information visible (which factsheet is since when in QS broken for example)thx for all the advice!

We have a couple of custom LeanIX roles set up in our organization, facilitated via SSO.  One of these roles is associated with the majority of employees in our company, we’ll call it “RO” for short, and another is associated with the team of individuals responsible for updating these diagrams (we’ll call it "RW”).  If I set the baseline permissions of a diagram to read-only, I haven’t been able to find a way to assign Read/Write permissions to members of the RW role.  It looks like the only way to assign these is at the user level for every diagram we have published.  The end goal is to have a sort of “diagram reference library” which, when published to, is read-only visible to the larger role group without having to manually grant write permissions to the smaller individually, per user, per diagram.Is anyone doing this today? 

I want to create a diagram containing our enterprise-wide business capabilities that includes the capability name plus a reference ID we have assigned to each capability (we have created an attribute field for “Capability Number” in the fact sheet).Is it possible to include multiple attributes in a diagram? e.g. “1.1 Capability Management”, with 1.1 taken from the Capability Number field.
