We understand that LeanIX is not a place to have Jira User Stories, however out-of-curiosity, have you encountered ask from users to map Jira User Stories into LeanIX? We have Initiative Factsheet » EPIC as a sub type , did anyone go one more level down and actually mapped Jira User Stories in LeanIX?What wa sthe use case? What do you think are the pros and cons of replicating User Stories into LeanIX under Initiative » EPIC » User Story as factsheet subtype?Comments and ideas are welcome.
Hi all, We are in the process of revamping a lot of fact sheets in the context of changes to our metamodel. We are using 3 workspaces to support a traditional Dev/PreProd/Prod path.I’d like to know how you manage your configurations promotions from one to another? Example: I have added 10 new attributes on a fact sheet and a bunch of tags collection in my dev workspace and plan to push it forward. How do you guys manage that, other than manually re-applying the change in other environments?
Does anyone have an example on how to add a file resource to a fact sheet programatically (i.e., via APIs)? Cheers, Helder
We would like to “freeze” the entire LeanIX workspace for maintenance. Only three selected people having user role “Admin” should be allowed to edit within the workspace. All people having ‘Member’ user role should only be allowed to view (just as people having ‘Viewer’ user role’). Hopefully there’s an easier way of doing this than to manually start changing the ‘Member’ permissions for each and every LeanIX object (application, IT component, etc.) in our workspace? Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks.
Hi all,Happy Wednesday from a blazing hot Cary, NC! I’m curious as to who has shared LeanIX Reports or Dashboards with their CEO and if so - which ones have resonated the most? Thanks in advance for your help,Lisa KernsFHI 360
LeanIX has this inbuit connector to connect to Siganio and we have done the required configuration. Now when we do the sync from Signavio to LeanIX, the Dictionary attributes are getting synched but not the Process in Signavio. Also it is not possible to sync the applications linked to a process in Signavio with LeanIX. Looking for a solution here.
Following on from the Customer Success Office Hours presentation by LeanIX yesterday, a few people were interested in the way we track Governance (Framework / Assessment & Policy compliance) Here are some extracts from one of our documented Process pages: On the Application / IT Component Factsheet: We have several use cases for this compliance. One being to track the Generative AI compliance. Another use case is indicating to Procurement that they can go ahead and engage with a provider to acquire software (EA assessment approved etc). We also use it to track what applications have undergone DPIA and Security reviews for Confidential data etc.For those interested in creating this new Factsheet - we have a fully documented instructions on how to do this (we document all production changes in detail), and I can provide a PDF of those instructions (The post does not allow me to include attachments)I hope the community find this useful and adapts it for their individual nee

Hi Everyone, Happy Monday! If you’re unfamiliar, Gartner's TIME Model is a strategic framework used in IT portfolio management to evaluate and make decisions about a company's IT projects and investments. It helps organizations prioritize projects, rationalize IT investments, and align them with their business goals. The TIME acronym stands for:- Tolerate: These are IT assets that are critical to the business but might not be aligned with the company's technology strategy. They are often legacy systems that are expensive to maintain but still deliver value. The recommendation here is to tolerate them until a better solution can be found.- Invest: These are IT assets that are well aligned with the business strategy and have the potential to deliver significant benefits. They often represent new or innovative technologies. The recommendation here is to invest in these assets to maximize their potential value.- Migrate: These are IT assets that are less critical to the business and not wel
Hi Everyone! Hope everyone is having a great week so far! A common theme that is being surfaced constantly is around automations, and how to incorporate the factor of automations into various workflows or into complex oriented business models to achieve positive intended results. LeanIX has built in automations that revolve around the concept of “no code” that is easily configurable within minutes under the admin area:Key Areas Automations Can Help With: 1. Increased EfficiencyAutomation workflows operate much faster than humans do, without the need for breaks, sleep, or days off. This results in significantly increased process efficiency.2. Reduced ErrorsAutomations eliminate the likelihood of human errors like forgetfulness, typos, misinterpretations, and miscalculations, leading to a higher quality of work.3. ConsistencyPerforming tasks manually can result in inconsistencies, especially over time or across different team members. Automated processes ensure every task is performed i
