I’m struggling with how to best represent interfaces that make calls to multiple applications to prepare a dataset to provide to a consumer application. My scenario is as followsApplication A initiates a push of data to Application B The above is implemented in our ESB/Middleware (Mulesoft in our case) Additional data from Application C is merged with the Application A data ESB pushes merged dataset into Application BRepresenting a single application to application interface via an ESB is OK, follows the LeanIX Modelling guidelines. I’m just stuck as to how to best represent this scenario as this will make up a significant majority of our interfaces. Any help would be appreciated
Hi, I’m curious to understand if someone in the community is or considering to use Lean IX as a repository to track and store architecture decisions, if yes - what do you capture?ADR = Architecture Decision Records, we are inspired by a Gartner Article that elaborates on this and is testing it out by adding new FactSheet types.

Hi, We have all app interfaces in Leanix but I was wandering: Did anyone also model/describe their ETL data interfaces in Leanix? Do you create interface factsheets for them too? How do you do this then? Are there best practices? Thanks in advance for the feedback!Tim
Hi,I’m trying to set the quality seal for a number of Interfaces but the field is not updated. Is there a way to do it without going one by one? Thanks
Hi everyone,After configuring 4 integrations to 4 different servicenow instances, I am seeing that only one of them is run daily by the Full_sync_job and the other 3 are skipped. Can this be resolved so that all of the 4 integration sync run everyday. Moreover, if that is possible then is it possible to choose the order of running the sync by which I mean that I can choose which sync should run first and then which one should run and so on so that all of them follow an order of running.
Dear all,we are currently diving into a very basic cost overview. One of the basic reports are focusing on the provider, which is in general fine. As providers are only connected to the IT components in the meta model and not the Application itself I need to assign all IT components (which all have the costs on them) to the provider again. That seems not a big issue for SaaS solutions (mostly there is just one IT component), but for on prem solutions / applications there can be maaaany IT components. To be honest: My application owners will be lost if they have to add that information to providers and the applications. ;)Do you guys have any hands on solution or automation in place for this issue? Thanks and best,Christina
Hi all,We are excited to be hosting the quarterly “What’s New” webinar on March 21st at 11am EST! In this session @ricauter.urdaneta and @Hunter Kislauskis will demonstrate practical scenarios on how new functionality can be used in your day to day processes that are supported by LeanIX. You can register for the webinar here. The agenda is as follows. Please use the links to learn more about the features beforehand:Reporting: Clustering by Self-Referencing Relations Reporting: Configureable Side Panel Import: Importing Fields on Relations Surveys: Mandatory Survey Questions Reference Catalogs: Linking Multiple fact sheet to one record Dashboards: Global Filtering Dashboards: Fact Sheet Charts Broken Down by RelationsIf you missed our last webinar, you can find the recording here, but we hope to see you on March 21st!
Hi All, I received an email from: IT LeanIX with “subject : There are 1 new changes in your workspace SiemensProd “ saying that with one of my application commented Quality seal broke. I am complete new to this topic and have no knowledge on this. can anyone help on this topic. Thanks in advance.
Hi All, I’m looking to create basic FactSheet entries from a Project Governance system called Uppwise. This is just a basic integration to LeanIX using a GraphQL client generated using the Netfilx DGS codegen plugin. Having got past some dependency problems, this now works well. I can also connect to the Pathfinder Rest API.However, I’m struggling to work out where I can get a list of my Users that I can use to add as subscribers.I can’t seem to call the MTM service, but I'm not sure if I should be able to. Could someone point me to which API I should call? ThanksAndrew
I want to retrieve the following informations for all fact sheets, that belong to a specific main ownership:Application Name Quality Seal Tags Application Owner Current LifecycleCan anyone tell me how i get the query running?
Hi Everyone!Happy Monday, and hope everyone is doing well.I know there are many segments within LeanIX that have layers of functionality and value utilization, which are dependent on use cases and stakeholders that are leveraging the platform.I would love to know if you have a favorite or a set of favorite functionality that you find extremely helpful within the platform and how it has contributed to your success within LeanIX.Are diagrams being leveraged and if so, which part of your technology infrastructure is being mapped out by visuals? Are there selective fact sheet types (standard or custom) that have been of focus for capturing data elements this year? Which type of automations have you implemented that has delivered greater efficiency (could be APIs or out of the box automations within the admin function)? Are their certain types of reports (i.e., landscape, matrix, portfolio and roadmap reports) that have signified importance in resonating the needed information to make effe
Hi all, I have 4 integration configurations made for 4 different Servicenow instances. I want all of them to run when the FULL_SYNC_JOB runs every day but I'm seeing that Sync for only one of them runs and others are skipped with the message as "Synchronisation job skipped. A full sync is already running or queued." How to resolve this ?
Hello everyone,We would like to envision how to handle versioning in LeanIX correctly. There is the Release field in the Application factsheet type, but in my company we have the need to track several versions of one applications because we have parallel versions.Let’s say we have three applications A, B and CWe have for A:V1.0.1 installed at site 1V1.0.6 installed at site 2V2.0.0 installed at site 3For B:V8.0.0 at site 1V9.2.0 at site 3For C:V5.0.1 at site 2At any time, another version of C could be installed at site 3 and it could be different than the one from site 2 so we have a need to track it also.We could clone three times the Application factsheet for A, two times for B, and change the release field but that seems inefficient. Also if one of the shared field (the description, or the Application Owner, or anything else) change, we’d have to edit every factsheet manually. That is also inefficient. I had thought first to create another factsheet type to represent the Version
Hi.Any on-premise application (let’s call one here ABC) is typically hosted on one or several physical or virtual servers (let’s have here 2 virtual servers SRV123 and SRV456). These servers have often but not always the same OS (let’s say here Windows Server 2019 for both SRV123 and SRV456) and different purposes with different components (let’s say here SRV123 is the web application server with IIS 10.0 and SRV456 the database server with SQL Server 2019). They also run on different pieces of hardware or a single one (let’s say here that SRV123 and SRV456 run on 2 different Dell PowerEdge R550 Rack Server units). In my example, Application ABC would have relations with the following IT Components in LeanIX:Software: Microsoft Windows Server 2019 + Microsoft IIS 10.0 + Microsoft SQL Server 2019, Hardware: Dell PowerEdge R550 Rack Server. But SRV123 and SRV456 servers actually appear nowhere in this model:Of course, they’re not Applications, They could be IT Components, but none of the s
