Hi,

I have a survey running with invitations sent to factsheet subscribers.

In some cases the subscriber has changed meanwhile and I like the survey invitation sent to these new members.

How can I get LEANIX to up date the recipients pool of the survey and

  1. resend the invitation to new members
  2. inform the old recipient that his task was shifted to another person?

Hello aveldena,

something that maybe you could find useful to know here is that when you forward the survey link to another person they can answer the survey too.

So ex-subscriber can just forward the survey email to the new one and the new subscriber can respond.

Afterwards at your survey results you will be able to see two different columns one for the receiver and one for the responder of the survey.

About the behavior of LeanIX we had a case in which when we changed a subscriber the survey was sent to him but I don’t know if this was the intended behavior.

Maybe you can open a ticket also for this since I don’t think this behavior is defined in the documentation.

 

P.S. You can always finish the Survey, change the Scope and then just restart the survey, then the survey email will go to the new subscribers, but it will go again to the unchanged subscribers for fact sheets that had no change.

Forward is a good idea, but my intention was to steer it itself. Sometimes the reason for the change is, that the original recipient is no longer in the company, thus he will forward nothing 😉

Finishung it an reopen will create a wave of emails to people who just havent ansered yet an I like to avoid the stirrup. Would prefer a differntial approach..

Yeah you are right, it does not cover all the cases.

I would probably make another survey for the fact sheets with new subscribers for now.

Maybe someone for LeanIX can make this more clear for us, because I would like to know too.

In my understanding, if you change the subscriber of your factsheet and that you have “activated” the “dynamic” option in the scope of the survey, leanIX should send automatically the survey to the new subscriber.

we would recommend to use the Dynamic mode for that.
