How to redirect Survey to another person?

something that maybe you could find useful to know here is that when you forward the survey link to another person they can answer the survey too.

So ex-subscriber can just forward the survey email to the new one and the new subscriber can respond.

Afterwards at your survey results you will be able to see two different columns one for the receiver and one for the responder of the survey.

About the behavior of LeanIX we had a case in which when we changed a subscriber the survey was sent to him but I don’t know if this was the intended behavior.

Maybe you can open a ticket also for this since I don’t think this behavior is defined in the documentation.

P.S. You can always finish the Survey, change the Scope and then just restart the survey, then the survey email will go to the new subscribers, but it will go again to the unchanged subscribers for fact sheets that had no change.

Forward is a good idea, but my intention was to steer it itself. Sometimes the reason for the change is, that the original recipient is no longer in the company, thus he will forward nothing 😉

Finishung it an reopen will create a wave of emails to people who just havent ansered yet an I like to avoid the stirrup. Would prefer a differntial approach..

Yeah you are right, it does not cover all the cases.

I would probably make another survey for the fact sheets with new subscribers for now.

Maybe someone for LeanIX can make this more clear for us, because I would like to know too.

we would recommend to use the Dynamic mode for that.

P.S.: While I am looking at the situation, I have the feeling that there is still some work to be done by the LEANIX Team to make the status, the results and the communications made by the system in a survey to be more transparent by the issuer. I do no feel very well informed who exactly now has received an email or what the system does when I change something in the survey.
For example I recognized that there were some emails send for some test surveys which where several month old, after I finalized them for some housekeeping, and they did make no sense in my eyes. I only became reminded of them because I received some questions by the recipients, wondering what that email was about….It a little bit a kind of “Black box” or am I wrong….? :)

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the survey functionality.
The product team recently delivered the new insights tab that will allow the survey creator to see the incoming answers in the UI and also which Fact Sheets/subscribers are included in the survey.
Please have a look at our documentation here for further details.
 

If you detected an unexpected behaviour in surveys, I would recommend you to reach out the LeanIX Support Team. It might happen that a punctual malfunctioning happened. The team will be able to share more context if you share with them when it did happen.
