Hello,

we are conducting an assessment of the applications within the company, specifically mapping applications and their related microservices.

We have introduced a mandatory subscriptions for assigning responsible and accountable roles to applications and modules that are part of the IT landscape.

Now, we need to map external applications owned by business stakeholders, which are invoked by internal microservices. Since we are mapping them as applications, they also inherit the mandatory subscriptions for accountability and responsibility. However, in many cases, we are unable to meet the responsibility requirement because there are no IT personnel involved.

How can we model this scenario for external applications?

Hi,

I don’t think this is configurable yet.

This is not possible even in Quality Seal settings.

@antonio.dinovi the quality seal applies to the whole factsheet and is not differentiated into the subtypes.

However, it is possible to add a “contact” (i.e. a new e-mail and user name not in LeanIX) to the mandatory subscription. You could possibly use an EA or other IT Group e-mail address as the responsible contact for these “external” applications. Note that the contact does not get sent e-mails about fact sheets they are subscribed to.
