Hello Team

I am looking for brief descriptions or narratives for each Factsheet Attribute within our documentation, such as 6R Classification, 6R Strategy, Alias, Business Contexts, Business Criticality, and Children. Additionally, we need descriptions for other Inventory Item Factsheets to ensure consistency when cascading this information to our SMEs, who will be responsible for sourcing the data.

If you have any references or documented details, please share. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Hello!

Thank you for reaching out via the community platform. We have great content around some of the areas that you are looking to implement and improve upon within your environment.:

  1. Business Context content: Business Context Documentation
  2. 6R methodology content: 6R framework
  3. Modeling guideline around hierarchy structure: Hierarchy Structure
  4. In the application of LeanIX, under the ‘Business Criticality Section’ for an Application Fact Sheet, there is help text that defines each of the out-of-the-box criticality status:

In addition, to helping populate the fact sheet data with the accurate content and standardization, two out-of-the-box layers of functionality that can assist with this are the reference catalog, and the AI capabilities:

  1. Reference Catalog: Reference Catalog
  2. AI Capabilities: Base AI Capabilities

I hope some of the information above helps in setting the foundation and evangelizing LeanIX internally. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Thank you!

@RKBA I think the only one not mentioned specifically in the reply @Niral Mehta was the “Alias” field. This is a very useful field for each factsheet. It is searchable in the global search and is great if you want to reserve specific naming conventions in the name field and allow for alternatives (past names or business known as..) or other keywords that would help people identify the right factsheet.
