Hi!

When generating reports, one of the key attributes we are asked for is “Who owns this?”.  Obviously this is managed through Subscriptions, but I cannot find a way of showing these in Reports - either directly or through the side panel details.

Has anyone found a way to do this or knows if it is a roadmap item?

Thanks, Simon

We have identified a similar requirement for a report detailing all subscriptions for each application. We were surprised to find that this report isn't readily available.

Currently, as a workaround, we are utilizing a "Saved Search" that includes the subscriptions columns.

Thanks @Eric Elich - glad it’s not just me.

Good call on the Saved Search as a work around. Sadly it stops the “Presentation” feature being fully usable.

I’ll have to see if there is a roadmap item or raise it as a feature request.

I have found this on the roadmap… Reports: Show more data on the side panel of the roadmap report - SAP LeanIX Product Roadmap | Product Roadmap

Shows that they have thought about adding it to the side panel at some stage.

Worth an “Upvote” from as many people as possible 👍

The only way at present I would do it is to have an automation that detects subscription changes and writes away the content of the subscription to a RO (maybe hidden) field on the main factsheet that can be reported on.

I have not looked at whether calculated fields could do this, but they would be more effective.

@Mark Antell - that’s a really interesting idea… I was thinking about adding in a new field to the fact sheet (e.g “Owner”) but was torn as there would be an overhead of duplicate entry and then the pain of maintaining a “List” of names outside of the users.

I’ll look into both the automations and calculations approaches and let you know what we come up with.

Hi,

Has anyone figured this out yet? How about adding a new fact sheet type “Person” in the metamodel, with “Owns” relation to other facts sheet types like Application, IT Components, Data Object, etc.?

Thanks,

Lifin
