Hi,

I am pretty new to LeanIX and have searched all the documentation but have been unable to find the solution, it is possible that I have missed something.

We are wanting to add Business Owners for each of our applications. The only way I have found to do this is via a subscription, but the challenge there is it will send the BO an email when changes are made, unless they specifically go and opt out.

Is there a way you can  add a field that does the same user lookup in say the Organisation Fact Sheet ?

All I can seem to add is a free form field, which isn’t great for reporting as the names could be entered slightly differently then any analysis becomes a challenge.

Thanks,

Hi @stheologo

I guess you want an option like „The subscription role „Business Owner“ should not receive any FS update notifications“, right?

Unfortunately this is not possible, but you could try to configure the default notifications so that they are better in line with your use cases:

https://docs-eam.leanix.net/docs/notifications-center

You can also add your proposal as a feature request on https://roadmap.leanix.net, and if enough people vote for it, it might be considered in one of the next releases.

Hey @stheologo ,

So adding the contact information (email, name, etc..) of Business Owners in the FS subscription tab while they are still not invited would not notify them, it will only add them as ‘contact’ in your workspace. They will not receive any notification up until you decide to invite them to the workspace and they become users. However, if they are already users in your workspace, then yes, they will be notified but you can manage the notification in the notification center.

I hope that clarifies it!

Best regards,

Mohamad

Thanks, I did see this, but that still allows for people to make typo’s when entering the name of the person.

Thanks, the notification settings didn’t allow for the options we need. Typically, our Business Owners for apps are senior leaders who arn’t really interested in changes to the fact sheet. It more for architecture/IT to keep track of it. I will go add something to feature requests.

That can be the case for sure. I would recommend bulk importing business owners through Excel if this information is available to EA or needs to be verified in Excel before being added.

Thats the plan at the moment. Was hoping for a simpler solution :)
