Fact sheet names can be long. The “Alias” field is super helpful to reduce the length to a commonly used abbreviation. In fact, it is already an option in reports to use Alias when available but Name when not.
Is there a way for me to use the Alias name in fact sheets in a diagram where space is often at a premium?
Cheers

Yes, in any diagram you can choose the “label” for the object by related fact sheet.
Hi @AliB,
This is possible in Diagrams by clicking the Labels button and selecting the Alias field:
Please note that you will need to select the Alias field for each fact sheet type present in the Diagram - in the image, I’ve selected Alias for Applications - you would also need to do this (if desired) for Business Capabilities, etc.
Let us know if you have additional questions here.
Best,
Danielle
Was a response race! Danielle just got there first.
Also: can’t believe I didn’t know this behaviour. Thanks all

You only know, what you know, or at least have not forgotten.
We do this ourselves for certain fact sheets (such as Interfaces to simplify our diagrams) @AliB but it doesn’t really work for other fact sheet types such as Applications where we use the Alias field for its intended purpose and often have multiple alias or also-known-as values.
