We have a fairly well-established ARB process but face challenges with proper documentation. We aim to effectively track approvals, rejections, and the associated decision rationale.

We previously explored Confluence for this purpose but encountered difficulties. We hoped to leverage LeanIX for this task, given our intention to utilize its full capabilities for tracking all aspects of approved applications.

However, we are hesitant to invest in full application license cost solely for tracking rejections and their brief justifications.

Has anyone used LeanIX in a similar way?

Hi, we have used a meta model customization to track the ARB decisions. Here is the link to the blog where I have outlined the approach that we had taken.

Support for tracking architectural decisions is currently in the “Early Adopter” phase of the LeanIX roadmap.  More information can be found here:  https://roadmap.leanix.net/c/593-collaboration-support-architecture-decision-making
