Serviceniw integration.

Hi,

I have a question regarding the ServiceNow–LeanIX integration. I’m trying to understand how to synchronize specific fields from ServiceNow into LeanIX.

Our current source of truth is LeanIX, and the out-of-the-box integration performs a one-way synchronization from LeanIX to ServiceNow. However, we have a use case where the Accountable Manager is updated in ServiceNow and needs to be reflected back in LeanIX.

Do you have any advice or recommendations on how to implement this? Also, do you know whether the out-of-the-box integration supports bi-directional synchronization for the same field?

Regards,

Hello jesparfaz,

I believe that sadly this is not possible.

It is possible to send fields from ServiceNow in LeanIX by just changing the flow inside the field mappings configuration, but not for subscriptions.

It would be possible most likely, to send it as text from ServiceNow to another LeanIX field.

After you do that you could implement a custom integration and update the subscription by using this field.
Or you could manually change it in LeanIX using the same field.

Sadly I don’t believe it’s possible to use automations or calculations for this.
