We appreciate your support and any assistance you can provide. Thank you,Aby
LeanIXment votre ! Gauthier

Hi Team,I am populating Factsheet Type = User Group with Organization Data and the “Alias” field has details of an organization unit. How can I reference the “Alias” field in factsheet type = User Group in another factsheet type “Application” (field = Business unit) Does LEANIX allow cross factsheet type reference? Purpose - Identify which applications belong to which business unit.
When configuiring the relations in ServiceNow integration, is it possible to map fields on relations ?
Hello!New to EA and LeanIX. I’m looking for thoughts around performing general risk management (associated with EA) within LeanIX.Risk management typically involves listing specific risks, with description, likelihood, and impact score attributes, and calculates risk scores based off of them.As far as I can tell, LeanIX (even with the Risk and Compliance module) allows us to store aggregated obsolescence specific risk via the lifecycle attribute but it doesn’t provide this general risk management capability.I’ve found a documentation example which seems to use tags to augment fact sheets with additional sunset status/risk, but that’s not quite what I had in mind. I’ve also found this example where custom fact sheet attributes are created and populated with similar fields (but not as a separate risk object):https://docs-eam.leanix.net/reference/calculate-risk-scores-based-survey-responsesHas anyone created custom objects and custom relationships to implement this sort of risk register f
Hello everyone -I’m new to LeanIX community and I did search to see if there was a similar question asked and didn’t find anything. Let me give some context before I ask the question: I am a business architect in a health insurance company that sells different types of health insurance “Products’. I’m documenting value streams, using Business Context fact sheets, across the organization and then linking Applications, which have their dependencies on the IT components. There are certain value streams that are either specific to a “Product” or multiple Products. Similarly there could be Applications that would be used for a specific Product. I need to create “Product-Specific” views in LeanIX. For example, I need to answer following questions:Which Applications support Product A? Give me a view of Product B value streams and the related Applications and IT Components? Here are my questions:How can I best associate specific Products against value streams and applications? Would “Tags” be
Hello,We will start a journey in 2025 to be SOX compliant. I would like to know if there is any return of experience of enterprise facing the same challenge by using LeanIX. Thank you for your help :)Best
Hello All!I hope everyone is doing great and is having a wonderful start to the week. I’m often asked for advice with rolling out LeanIX to the broader organization. It can be challenging to effectively loop in various teams and stakeholders and officially begin ‘democratizing’ EA within your business. While LeanIX does have an official Rollout and Adoption Toolkit (which I wholeheartedly recommend checking out and utilizing if you haven’t already), I’m curious to learn how you went about this all-important step in your LeanIX journey. I’m hoping you can share your answers to some or all of these questions below:Have you begun your rollout to the wider organization yet? Still Planned? With regard to your rollout, what does your end goal look like? How have you (or will you) go about gaining stakeholder adoption of LeanIX and EA as a whole? What (if any) major challenges were you facing before, during, and after your rollout of LeanIX?Thank you for your responses to these questions eve
Hi All, Hope everyone is having a fantastic Monday! If you haven’t seen my post last week, I asked whether or not your organization has implemented TIME in your EA practice and your thoughts about the model itself. @Jacques, a greatly appreciated community member, responded to this question with a great example of how they’ve utilized TIME and the custom approach they utilized (seriously, this is a great response and if you haven’t read it, please do so!). Jacques also posted a question at the end of his response to the community, and to ensure it gets visibility, I wanted to repost it here.Jacques wrote: “How are other organisations assessing TIME across their organisation with different Functional Fits per region/team/business unit ?” Appreciate your time and have a great week everyone!
Hi Everyone! Happy Monday. If you have worked closely with the LeanIX CS team or even with the LeanIX sales team before your journey with LeanIX, you were likely exposed to various materials, resources, and guides about LeanIX and related topics. I would love to know if you have a favorite or a set of favorite resources that you have used or shared with your teams and why you found them so helpful. They can be any type of resource and can be centered on different topics. I’d like to compile an internal list to reference for myself and team, and to give to newer customers when they start out with LeanIX. Thanks all and have a great week!
Hi group,One intention why we initiated this healthcare user group was to follow up on several requests from our user base to collaborate with peers on building a Business Capability Map for hospitals. Please reply to this message, when you’re interested in joining a peer group to start this initiative. When we gathered a minimum amount of people, I will manage next steps and contribute from the LeanIX team and with 15+ years of experience in healthcare IT.
Hi community!I am looking for an application lyfecycle management map to incorporate it to the operating model. The thing is, I don’t get any that explains it clear and easy to follow. Does anyone know how to get what I am looking for?So thankful for your help, as alwyas!
Hello, I am relatively new to Bosch and I will be creating an SOP document for a new tool we are developing for use within MA-SNA. I am wondering if there is any kind of LEAN template or rubric that will enable me to create this template in a “Bosch” way. Thanks in advance!
The topic was brought up and discussed in the old online community in this post (at least) and at the recent LeanIX Community Event in Boston. The LeanIX docs address the topic and there are videos that discuss the topic as well. I still feel like this is still a very gray area though. How do your organizations differentiate applications from IT components? At the Boston event, one of our colleagues shared his company’s documented definition of an application. it was insightful. Do other companies have definitions that they would be willing to share? At Boston Scientific, we use a decision tree to answer the question whether the architect should use an application fact sheet, an IT component fact sheet, or both. I can share that with this group if this topic gets some momentum.
Following the release of the AI Governance and Adoption extension, I can see a lot of benefit in the AI potential assessment on the Application and Business Capability. What I’m struggling to do however is visualise it. Ideally I’d like a heat mapped view of my whole organisation showing where the overlap is between high potential capabilities and applications. I’ve explored the various report types and can’t figure out a way to achieve this so looking for some ideas as to whether this is possible in a single report? For example, if I look at my capability model and identify the key areas of potential for AI, what I’d like to do is then see the applications supporting those capabilities that also have high potential as a way to prioritise the applications where we should implement AI.
