We have been working on something special for you - and we are excited to finally share it.
Starting this May, we are launching the SAP LeanIX Community Champions Contest (suggested by @GiannisAnt in this post in January) - a program designed to recognize the members who make this community what it is: a space where Enterprise Architects share knowledge, solve problems, and grow together.
We will be running two contests throughout the year:
1. Champion of the Month (runs every month till December)
How it works?
Every month from May to December 2026, we will be tracking community activity and engagement across three key actions:

| Starting a discussion or asking a question (topic created) | 20 pts |
| Replying to a post | 15 pts |
| Providing a best answer | 30 pts |
A small but important update to our point system
We have updated our point values to better reflect how members actually contribute to this community. Previously, the system rewarded new topics significantly more than replies - but the truth is, the members who show up every day to respond, help, and keep conversations going are just as valuable as those who start them.
So, we made it fairer:
- Replies now earn 15 points instead of 5 - because consistent participation deserves proper recognition
- Topic creation now earns 20 points instead of 15 - because asking a good question still matters and helps the whole community
- Best answers remain at 30 points - because quality help should always be rewarded
These changes are permanent and take effect from May 1st, 2026.
Who wins Champion of the Month?
The member with the highest total points earned that month wins and becomes our Champion of the Month. It is not just about quantity - it is about showing up, contributing, and helping others find the answers they need.
The leaderboard is now fully transparent - you can track your progress and everyone else's in real time.
What does the Champion of the Month win?

A Champion of the Month badge added to your community profile - permanent recognition that stays with you beyond the contest

A shoutout from the community team - your name announced and permanently featured in our Hall of EA Champions thread (read about the thread below)
2. EA Champion of the Year (runs till end of 2026, winner to be announced in January)
How is the EA Champion of the Year selected?
At the end of December, we will look back at the full contest period and crown our first ever SAP LeanIX EA Champion of the Year. The member with the highest total points earned between May 1st and December 31st, 2026 takes the title.
The leaderboard tells the story — no hidden criteria, no manual selection. Just consistent, genuine contribution.
What Does the EA Champion of the Year win?
