We are starting with Technical and Functional Fit for apps in our portfolio. I would like to use out of the box functionality and definitions, however we discovered that existing definitions of these two attributes are quite hard to judge. Example: definition of a perfect functional fit is “High number of functions available” - we are not really looking at functions in business value assessment, we would be looking to how well this application realizes my business problem end to end. Additionally, we want to make sure that app owners are less prone to rate everything as “prefect fit” (which we know they tend to do).
Does anyone have experience with successfully enriching these definitions?
