Dear SAP LeanIX community members,

As we head to the festive season, I’m delighted to share an early dose of holiday happiness with all of you. 🎅🏻🌲

As of today, we are proud to have over 4000 members in our SAP LeanIX Community! 🚀

This milestone wouldn't be possible without each one of you. Your participation, support, and enthusiasm has driven this community forward and created an amazing environment for everyone passionate about the world of Enterprise Architecture and SAP LeanIX solutions. In just 2025, we have grown from 2665 to 4000+ members, creating countless connections, sharing knowledge, and supporting one another in our business transformation journey.

Thank you for being such a pivotal part of our community. And here’s to more growth and success together in 2026!

AND as we celebrate, I encourage everyone to please join me in the conversation:
- Share your insights/express your appreciation, and let us know how this community has helped you in your daily work or journey since you joined?

Also, please don’t hesitate to use the opportunity to guide us:
- How can we help improve the digital community experience for you in 2026?

Your experiences and voices are what make this community special and I’d love to hear it.

Warm regards,
Shreenith Naik - SAP LeanIX Digital Community Team

This is huge, what do you think helped this increase?

@ces Great question! I believe one of the reasons is the formation of a new internal customer onboarding team this year, which also shares multiple resources customers could find useful in their journey with our solutions - one of it being the digital communities. Our colleagues make sure to communicate the benefits of digital communities, especially during their early stages of learning and exploring. Also, community answer/response time is fairly doing better than 2024 (with a room for improvement of course), so that’s one very clear indication for new members that they may find answers sooner, when a question is asked.

However, my personal goal this year would be to make this space more resourceful for the existing members over increasing the membership, to make this space more collaborative. Would you have any tips for improvement that we can work on implementing this year in our community? (new topic category, interface, new groups etc.)

Mentioning some of our top contributors here in case they also have suggestions for us for 2026 - @Carsten @GiannisAnt @Thomas Schreiner @Helder.Luz @Justin Swift

Thanks for the response, in change management is hard to really measure success! well done.

It would be fantastic if there are focus-led working group in a specific area or verticals, I know the output of these will improve the product/ideas for roadmap, etc but also great opportunity from members (customers) to collaborate/learn and network.

It is great that this place exists, It is incredibly useful for me since I can find help when needed but I can also guide others when I can. I believe Communities are a critical component for success in almost anything and so far everything has been super useful here.
I really don’t have any major ideas to suggest I think the forum fulfils its purpose, but just in case you find something interesting these are what came to the top of my head:

I think adding more features would be nice.
Personally I don’t mind about the groups because when I visit I am going to glance over all the thread titles and click the ones I find interesting.

I think it would be nice to see community events, like success stories from the community on broadcast etc. mini interviews type of things.
Job board similar to Stackoverflow would be interesting and it would drive user growth although this is not your goal more members wouldn’t hurt.
An articles or even academic papers section that are related with EA-LeanIX etc.
Daily, weekly challenges? bit of a stretch but would be fun.

Thanks @ces for sharing your feedback, appreciate the interest.

In the past few days, I checked with our product development & user research teams if there’s currently a way you could participate closely. At the moment, you can only participate by submitting your ideas/suggestions to our Product Roadmap and the team picks out users to involve them in the research/development.

However, since you shared your interest, the team would like to explore bringing those type of participation as an opportunity to the community and leveraging our open forums to involve members more closely in future. If the first post around this comes out in future, I will surely keep you in mind and share it so you can participate.

Hope this helps :)

Thank you @GiannisAnt , appreciate your honest feedback and testimonial. My response on your points below:

  • Great idea about the success stories - let me check if someone internally could pick this up and bring a webinar concept to the community around the topic. Will keep you posted via this thread if there’s an update. Would there be an interest from you to be the first speaker if we manage to start something new?
  • For job board - one can feel free to use the current Your EA Career category we have, although not many members use it as often as other categories. Perhaps, we could consider making it more prominent/visible. Thanks for the suggestion.
  • Academic papers section sounds like a great idea, considering a few posts around this I’ve already come across. I will note it down.
  • Challenges are something we are planning to have this year as one of the main focus as well, so you may see some coming soon. Glad to hear that you’d like having that.
