Documenting Standard Integration Middleware - Design Patterns into LeanIX
Hi,
Is there a way to document all the standard integration / middleware Design Patterns used in our enterprise?
The idea here is to have a repository of all standard integration Design Patterns, so users can reference them.
Thanks and regards,

We simply draw design patterns in the tool and then put the drawings in a category called “Reference Architectures”. make sure to have an easy to find drawing title and description and viola
We have created a Governance Item fact sheet type and created subtypes of standards, controls, architecture principles, conceptual patterns, etc. with relationships to other fact sheet types. We create a fact sheet for each pattern with attributes that describe the context of the pattern and attach the diagram on the resources tab.

We are in the process creating a new Fact Sheet type to support this and aligning it with a set of pattern categories. Then we will also suggest the “preferred” IT Components for realization to drive standards. It becomes over time a “Architecture RunBook” on how to solve common problems.
Hi @Keith Vargas , @DLHobson and @Thomas Teglund
Thanks for the response…
The request here is to basically document all integrations developed in my organization.
The idea is to have enterprise integration repository in LeanIX with details captured, such as - source, destination, frequency, ingestion type, and whether it is a point-to-point or system-to-system integration, etc.
Attached is a brief screenshot of the information, I would like to capture.
Appreciate if you can guide in this regards.
Thanks,
Satish Byali
All,
To avoid confusion with the current subject title, I have created a separate question to simplify and track it on my requirements.
