Copy Production Workspace to Sandbox Workspace

Dear Community

When requesting SAP for a copy from your production workspace to the sandbox workspace, which (technical/integration) components should be excluded in the copy request to avoid problems with productive interfaces (e.g. Jira and other supplying thirdparty systems). In other words, which Leanix integration components related to the interfaces of the productive workspace should be excluded from the copy request

Kind Regards,

Maarten

Hi @Maarten

thank you for reaching out and apologies for the late reply from my end.

Today the workspace clone is effectively “all or nothing” — integrations, external IDs and automations are copied by default.

That said: the usual, safe approach is to request SAP Support to perform the copy but (before/after) take manual steps to disable integrations, remove or blank externalIDs/externalURLs, and disable scheduled automations. Those manual exclusions are the operational workaround until a configurable/partial‑clone feature exists. So it is really up to you.

Hope that helps. Let me know if I can help any further.

Kind regards,

Isabelle
