In LeanIX, we have imported our CMDB into the metamodel as follows:
- Business Apps to the Application/Business App fact sheet subtype
- System/Module to the Application/Microservice fact sheet subtype
- Component to the IT Component/Service fact sheet subtype
When we model designs by hand today, we map integrations at the System/Module level like this, essentially rolling up the microservice to it’s parent business app:
How do I create this same type of data flow diagram in LeanIX Diagrams? There’s no option out-of-the-box to make one app the child of another.
Do I need to create a manual parent/child relationship on the Application fact sheet? Then I should be able to “roll-up” to the parent business app?
