MCP Server & Architecture Decisions

The documentation states that the toolset include functions to create architecture decisions (MCP Server | SAP Help Portal). However this seems to be incorrect, I looked into the available tools available to my agent and the only function related is:

LeanIX-MCP-Server-get_architecture_decisions

Even beyond architectural decisions, most functions are of GET type.

Are the CREATE functions going to be available soon or is the documentation imprecise?

Hello @Piotrskij,

thank you for reaching out to the community!

It is definitely possible to create Architecture Decisions via the MCP Server. I can confirm this works as expected based on testing in my demo environment.

The tools surfaced to your agent reflect the permissions of the User (via OAuth) or the Technical User (via API token) used for the MCP Server connection. If only GET functions are available, this strongly suggests the underlying account lacks the necessary CREATE permissions for Architecture Decisions.

If the issue persists after verifying permissions, I would recommend reaching out to our technical support via SAP for Me for deeper troubleshooting.

Wishing you a productive day ahead!
