pathfinder 403 error

Creating "Product-Specific" views

Hello everyone -I’m new to LeanIX community and I did search to see if there was a similar question asked and didn’t find anything. Let me give some context before I ask the question: I am a business architect in a health insurance company that sells different types of health insurance “Products’. I’m documenting value streams, using Business Context fact sheets, across the organization and then linking Applications, which have their dependencies on the IT components. There are certain value streams that are either specific to a “Product” or multiple Products. Similarly there could be Applications that would be used for a specific Product. I need to create “Product-Specific” views in LeanIX. For example, I need to answer following questions:Which Applications support Product A? Give me a view of Product B value streams and the related Applications and IT Components? Here are my questions:How can I best associate specific Products against value streams and applications? Business Capabilities and Business Processes

Hello everyone,My current understanding is that behind most business capabilites there is a process that describes how this capability is achieved operationally. This process is modeled in SAP Signavio according to BPMN 2.0, for example.However, my understanding is also that certain capabilities can be used or activated within a process in order to support a process. Therefore, I have the following questions: Is it correct that business capabilities are used within a process to realize a higher-level capability? How can this relationship between capabilities and processes be represented in Signavio? So how do I illustrate in my BPMN, that the process describes “how” a certain capability is delivered? And how do I show other capabilities that are required for this process?Thank you very much for your support!

Modeling B2B integration

Hi Community FellowsWe are new to LeanIX, I am exploring if anyone has experience in B2B integration flow ( IFDs) having trading partner ( external customer) mapped in LeanIX. A2A integration  where in sender and receivers are applications, it appears straightforward with interface factsheet. Changing Metamodel to link Business Products to IT Components

Hello,   I’m fairly new to using LeanIx tool for EA practice, within our organisation we have determined a few business products used by consumers and these products are supported by IT Components. The confusion we have is how do we link the business product to IT components without creating any applications. I understand we can change the out of the box meta model definition, just wanted to see if anyone has tried this approach before and if yes what implications does it have?

Interface Fact Sheet: Category, Provider and Consumer

Hello dear LeanIX Community, i am currently struggling with understanding the concept of the fields Provider Application and Consumer Applications on the Interface Fact Sheet. As I understand it, it has nothing to do with the direction of the data flow. But how can I identify which application is the provider and which one is the consumer of the interface?And also when should I use Logical Interface and when API as the subtype of the Fact Sheet?Thank you very much.

How to get all Application Factsheets from REST API

I’ve been trying to pull all application Factsheets from the /factsheet API, specifying criteria in the body such as the “type” and a few select “fields” I want, and setting “false” values on things like tags and subscriptions. However, when running the request, I still get all factsheets regardless of type, all fields, all tags, all subscriptions etc. I must be doing something wrong, but I am not sure what. Any ideas or any examples how I can use the GraphQL API to do this (I’m unfamiliar with GraphQL so I’ve been sticking to REST)?Thanks in advance!

How to collapse expanded Interfaces after "Show Interfaces"?

How does one collapse interfaces after clicking the arrow to expand them? I’ve been searching for hours and this seems like something very simple to achieve but I cannot find it. Once you expand an Interface from a data flow diagram, there doesn’t appear to be a way to revert it back to the “unexpanded” view you previously had.

Modelling BTP applications in LeanIX and branding - What should be the way to go?

With recently LeanIX joining forces with SAP, lot of positive changes in terms of LeanIX inventory enriched with lot of SAP specific Factsheets! An awesome & lovely addition indeed! 😍And along with these ready-to-use Factsheets from LeanIX Reference Catalog, I am currently working on preparing modelling and diagramming for applications built on SAP BTP as an extension to SAP S/4HANA Core system.I first looked at this page for official guidance from LeanIX: https://docs-eam.leanix.net/docs/sap#model-sap-btp. This section is still in-progress with LeanIX, but I am wondering whether anyone from the community has already came across similar situation. About modelling, logically speaking, I would imagine SAP BTP as PaaS platform would be a Application Factsheet and Services running on it or offered by it would be IT Components (much of them are already available on LeanIX Reference Catalog). Correct? About diagramming, there is a detailed guidance on using SAP BTP branded library for D

Multiple servicenow integration configuration sync error

Hi everyone,After configuring 4 integrations to 4 different servicenow instances, I am seeing that only one of them is run daily by the Full_sync_job and the other 3 are skipped. Can this be resolved so that all of the 4 integration sync run everyday. Moreover, if that is possible then is it possible to choose the  order of running the sync by which I mean that I can choose which sync should run first and then which one should run and so on so that all of them follow an order of running.

IT Component Costs and currencies

Hi everyone, This is a feature request.  When adding costs to an IT component linked to an application, it is listed in the local currency which is set in the general settings.  At the moment, I’m performing a point-in-time conversion for contracts in USD, GPB etc to my local currency which over time will become inaccurate.  If possible I’d like to enter the cost of the IT component in the currency the contract is paid in.  LeanIX knows about different currencies from the general settings, so if I can enter that value, that would be superb.  In the costings reports, they would convert those costings to the local currency so I know what each provider is costing me, in my local currency.What does everyone else think? Would this be a useful feature?

Multiple sync job error

Hi all, I have 4 integration configurations made for 4 different Servicenow instances. I want all of them to run when the FULL_SYNC_JOB runs every day but I'm seeing that Sync for only one of them runs and others are skipped with the message as "Synchronisation job skipped. A full sync is already running or queued." How to resolve this ?

Updating Business Application data from ServiceNow

Hi all, I have a requirement to update fact sheet type- Application data in LeanIX through Servicenow. I have already integrated with ServiceNow through the O-O-B integration available but that is for creating Application records in Servicenow from LeanIX. And since, we can't make another fact sheet mapping to do the opposite too, I was thinking of how to do that in LeanIX. Please let me know how to do it. Also, can Integration API do this ? (Just to remind again, I want to update BA records in LeanIX from Servicenow). Thanks for your help in advance.

Validating fact sheet data entry for email and name using Active Directory

Hello Community 😀Does anyone know how I could possible create a field for a fact sheet that will only allow a validated Active Directory email address and add the name as it appears in Active Directory? Or more specifically  Azure Active Directory?Thank you!
