Hi,I want to create a new relation between applications to show the connected application via interfaces.Meaning, if an application A is a provider for interface Y and application B is a consumer, A is connected to B and this should be visible in both A and B factsheets.The problem is: when I add B to the relation with A and then go to B to add A, it creates a cycle and LeanIX return an error.Is there a way to solve this? I just whant to have a way to show all the applications that are connected to A.Thanks

Hi folks, Just curious as to whether anyone is currently including information on sub-processors for Applications/Vendors in LeanIX based on application reviews etc. If so, have you found value in doing so and what have you found to be the most manageable way to reference these so that they are reportable/searchable if required? Thanks Anthony.

Hi,I’m struggling with a calculated field that counts the name of applications that have an interface with one application.Meaning: Applications have a field that should show the number of applications that interface with that application. If we go to all provided interfaces and get the consumers and then go to consumed interfaces and get the providers, create a list with all those applications, remove duplicates and return how many applications are in that list.Any idea how to do this with a calculated field?Thank you,Paulo

Hello all,We’re in the process of uploading an application inventory for a new Business Organization.All Organizations share the same Business Capabilities Architectures. Although some organizations might use different Business Process coverage for the same application. For example: This example requires that App A’s Relation to Process A is applicable only for Org A (same for App B for Org B).We can specify that doing it FactSheet by FactSheet. The question is: Is it possible to do it using the import template? Hi All - for each new application, we are performing an architecture assessment. We have 9 questions, each with 4 options that are rated 1-4.I’d like to create a calculated field that can get those values from 4 questions and create a calculation what is the total score Is it possible to somehow visually indicate for each answer (with colour etc) that the answer tends to be weak (e.g. not secure) or perfect fit to the landsscape.Is there a possibility to do that in LeanIX?

New LeanIX user - we are just starting the onboarding process and already have some foundational questions that we want to get ahead of. One of these is how to setup the Organization model to best meet our needs. The externalUrl contains the Glossary URL. However, the Glossary URL and name are not displayed on the Fact Sheet itself. The ability to link objects in LeanIX diagrams to other diagrams is a powerful feature that supports the creation of complex drill-down illustrations.At present, a shape can be linked either to a fact sheet or to a diagram, but a connector can only be linked to a fact sheet. This limitation seems unnecessary.Since connectors often represent interfaces, which can be complex and may require their own graphical representation, enabling connectors to link to other diagrams would make it possible to illustrate these interfaces much more effectively.

I wonder if LeanIX supports for the multi-level bullet and number lists in text-area fields. I cannot find how to do it natively with lists. It is somewhat problematic and cumbersome to do the indentation manually.Also, it would be fantastic if text-area would allow more HTML editing capabilities like inserting images, text colors, etc..

It would be very helpful if Text Area field in fact sheets supported more rich text editing capabilities comparable to this Description field in which I type my message. Ability to insert images, links, and to have greater control over text styling would be a welcomed enhancement.

I’m looking to add value to the “File resources” in a factsheet and make it visible in standard reporting.Now that we have Automations and Calculated Fields, how can i set the value of a Single Select field on a fact sheet based on values in the Resources??Use Case Examples:- Field is Y/N based on if a Resource of certain TYPE is attached in the Resources?- If the resource has a NAMING convention, extract the last part of the Resource Name and save it as a DATE…..to ease reporting (identify resources that need to be reviewed/updated)- Other?? Thanks to all who make this is a valuable and vibrant communityMoise

I need to trigger an external automation when a fact sheet is updated to set a parent.I am observing that the FACT_SHEET_UPDATE webhook trigger consistently passes the parent as the event fact sheet in the payload, rather than the child that was updated.Can I safely assume that the child fact sheet, whose parent was just set, will always appear as the last entry in the parent’s relation edge of type relToChild?

We have introduced SSO with Entra ID. This means we do not have to look at the access of users in LeanIX anymore. Also for stopping the access by removing them from our IdP. But what if a user is also subscribed as an owner of a factsheet. We use the Quality Seal and if it breaks the e-mail is send to a users email that's no longer in the company. So we need to be alerted if a user is deactivated so we can transfer ownership.Of course we can do a manual check but would love to have a automated process so we are looking for some best practices. How do you take care of deactivating user and transfer ownership.

Hi All, i am new to LeanIX, as well to community. i am working on Data flow diagram and having lots of challenges. we have SFTP service which is used by multiple application for file transfer. I added my SFTP application as an application factsheet and added sftp as a provided Interface. below are my questions if anyone can help.let's assume one application is only sending the file outbound and second file only receive the file incoming, how i can showcase it? in interface factsheet i can select either incoming, outbound or bidirectional.  If i add an arrow manual (like we add in free flow diagram) we can link to any factsheet like interface etc. For eg. we can add a manual added box to any application factsheet. is there any way i can get a label based on data flow like inbound file transfer or outbound file transfer based on direction of the arrow automatically.Thanks
