Just like I wrote in the title, I can not remove any IT components added to "Requires”, even the ones I added myself. I checked with my colleague and he has this read button saying “Delete entry”, for me this button does not appear. Does anyone know how can I fix this issue?

Hi all, We are in the process of revamping a lot of fact sheets in the context of changes to our metamodel. We are using 3 workspaces to support a traditional Dev/PreProd/Prod path.I’d like to know how you manage your configurations promotions from one to another? Example: I have added 10 new attributes on a fact sheet and a bunch of tags collection in my dev workspace and plan to push it forward. How do you guys manage that, other than manually re-applying the change in other environments?

We would like to “freeze” the entire LeanIX workspace for maintenance. Only three selected people having user role “Admin” should be allowed to edit within the workspace. All people having ‘Member’ user role should only be allowed to view (just as people having ‘Viewer’ user role’). Hopefully there’s an easier way of doing this than to manually start changing the ‘Member’ permissions for each and every LeanIX object (application, IT component, etc.) in our workspace? Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks.

LeanIX has this inbuit connector to connect to Siganio and we have done the required configuration.Now when we do the sync from Signavio to LeanIX, the Dictionary attributes are getting synched but not the Process in Signavio.Also it is not possible to sync the applications linked to a process in Signavio with LeanIX. Looking for a solution here.

I am seeking assistance with integrating assets from our Jira CMDB (Configuration Management Database) with LeanIX Factsheets and synchronizing specific fields between the two systems. Our goal is to ensure that data consistency is maintained across both systems, with Jira CMDB serving as the single source of truth for all information. However, we have encountered challenges related to middleware solutions, as our internal middleware Celium has not been approved for this purpose. I am Really A Rookie in this Topic, maybe you know a better approch for this Case.

Hi All, Happy Monday! I have had a few customers ask me how they should approach modeling costs of their IT within LeanIX. I would love to hear your approaches to modeling costs within LeanIX. Things that would be interesting to learn are: What types of views have you been utilizing to showcase the costs associated within your IT Landscape… Dashboards? Reports? Diagrams? External apps like PowerBI? Have you begun leveraging integrations like the Apptio integration or custom integrations? Have you used webhooks to pull in cost data?  Any other custom configs you have used? Challenges you may have run into? Solutions to them? Very eager to learn and see your approaches and feedback on how they have performed.  Have a great week everyone!

I’ve searched documentation but cannot find guidance on the value vs effort of relating L1 applications to business capabilities and organizations. If an L1’s child applications (L2) are mapped appropriately to Business Capabilities and Organizations, why map L1 at all? The effort to do so is very duplicative and my users don’t want to do it. My thought is to “Leave Empty” these relations on L1 applications as it is effort without much value. What are your opinions?Example: An L1 application like “SAP ERP” and child applications like “SAP ERP CO”, etc.

As the title states, I have an Application Portal and when clicking on an application and the detail opening, there is a button for, “Request Now”. I’ve used the Portals in Administration to customize the action to “mailto: xxxxxx” our help desk, however, it would be awesome to dynamically include the application name that is being requested. Has anyone done this?

My question is, what is the best APIs method to update factsheets?As I can see, I have these 3 options:API Rest: I do not see the option to update factsheets GraphQL: I believe that this option provides the solution that I am looking for Integrations: at this point, I am not sure what this option is forWhat would be the best solution for this integration with ServiceNow?Thank you:)

Dear Lean IX Community,I am just starting to add Organization to the workspace. I have imported an excel spreadsheet with all the  fact sheets I want to have under organization. Though I don't know how to adjust the spreadsheet so when I import it, the fact sheets already match their subtypes.I tried to create new column with subtype directly in the spreadsheet, but it didn’t solve the problem and I had to define the subtype manually. Also when I export existing fact sheets, there is no reference to subtypes I could possibly adjust.Please does someone know how to solve this so I can have all fact sheet subtypes in place when importing the excel spreadsheet.I will be happy to get any advice.Kind regards,Sofia

I am trying to figure out button icons for the UIButtons that are defined as part of the ReportConfiguration / UIConfiguration. I am able to create buttons with text, and I am able to create buttons with a few fontawesome icons, using icon strings like “fa-solid fa-sync” and “fa-solid fa-cog”. But I want to use the icons for faTableList (fa-solid fa-table-list) and faChartGantt (fa-solid fa-chart-gantt). But using those strings results in blank buttons rather than icons. What is the proper format for the icons, and how can I validate what is available?
